The Crafty Spriggan

Clay Creations
I love using polymer clay as a jewelry maker and sculptor. I enjoy being the kind of artist that has multiple ways of creating, and every new skill lends to the others.

![]() Little statuette of my Crafty Spriggan character, made out of sculpey polymer clay. Had a lot of fun making this | ![]() This sculpture is of a Spriggan from one of my favorite games, Skyrim. It indeed was part of the inspiration behind my business name, "The Crafty Spriggan." |
![]() This is one of my favorite clay pendant pieces. I love the dangling elements, the way it is balanced but not the same shapes. Constructing this one was a little tricky, but worth it. | ![]() Simple circular dome shape with flat back has some nice little details along it's length, with some light texture on both sides. |
![]() This one has nice texture on the black side and a pop of vibrant green color on the other side, with little stitches to bring them together. Also, it is a nice teardrop shape that isn't flat but has a full shape. | ![]() This is made out of strong Kato clay, developed by a clay artist, this material is really strong and I use it in a lot of my works. It is a lot harder to work, but I find the increased durability it gives my pieces is worth it. |
![]() This one took awhile cutting out each little strip, then putting it all together on this piece. I used a technique to make this a dome with a flat back. A little tricky but I really like how it turned out. | ![]() Nice color transition in this one, accented with gold bead. |
![]() This one was made using the Mokume Gane technique, which is a Japanese technique used to make dinstintive patterns in the metal that looked similar to wood grain. Here I do the same technique but with clay. I absolutely love it! | ![]() Another Mokume Gane piece, it is like a little abstract picture framed in black. |

![]() This is a Snow Dragon, and he is too cute. He has a steel wire armature under the clay for added durability, and has been painted a silvery blue. | ![]() Another dragon sculpture, made with wire armature and polmer clay. |

![]() This clay owl has alot of detail, each feather made individually, and it holds in its feet a real geode that sparkles in the light. Very unique piece. | ![]() These dragon eye pendants were really fun to make! Made with polmer clay and painted, coated, and strung on braided hemp string I made, these eyes watch over you wherever you go! |
![]() Yes, this is Falcor from the Never-ending Story. That movie inspired me so much as a kid, and I love to design creatures and dragons now as an adult. |
